Today’s Agenda

Today’s Agenda

Happy Election Day!

Being a SPECTATOR in a DEMOCRACY is no better than being a PEASANT in a MONARCHY. Go Vote!

1)   Let’s get out our papers

1)     Journal Entry: 10 Minutes: What are we happiest with?

2)     Journal Entry: 10 Minutes: What needs the most work?

3)     Group discussion

4)      Get into workshop “Battle Stations.”

Write your name and your group focus on the papers you proofread.

4)      Group (1) Grammar Group

                Sentence and Paragraph structure

5)      Group (2) Format Group

Does this paper demonstrate that the author has drawn from several of the sources we have written for this unit?

6)      Group (3) Moment of Truth group

Is there a detailed explanation of a moment that caused the individual to change their mind about a certain aspect of higher education.

7)      Group (4) Overall flow and coherence group

By the time you get to the end of the paper, has the author made a clear point, or are their portions of the paper that appear to be “stitched together” portion of previous papers
